Here is my version of Mojo sauce. I prefer it without oil but you can add ⅓ cup olive oil if desired.
Recipe type: sauce
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
  • 1 bulb of garlic peeled
  • 1 c orange juice or fresh squeezed
  • ¼ c lemon or lime juice
  • 2 chili peppers with seeds
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh oregano or cilantro
  • ½ c water
Instructions
  1. Mix all in a blender until blended well. If you want to use as marinade I use it directly like this. Otherwise in a saucepan on medium-low heat, cook it down for about 15 minutes and then chill. It is a great dipping sauce for fried yuca as shown.
