Indian Spices

Typically most Indian meals that we make use the following spices to taste:

  • mustard seed
  • paprika
  • turmeric (mostly for color, use sparingly)
  • garam masala
  • ground coriander
  • ground cumin
  • black pepper
  • fresh chili pepper
  • salt

Specialty dishes we will also use:

  • green cardamon seed
  • black cardamon seed
  • coriander seed
  • fenugreek seed
  • cloves
  • anise
  • dried mango
  • poppyseed
