Typically most Indian meals that we make use the following spices to taste:
- mustard seed
- paprika
- turmeric (mostly for color, use sparingly)
- garam masala
- ground coriander
- ground cumin
- black pepper
- fresh chili pepper
- salt
Specialty dishes we will also use:
- green cardamon seed
- black cardamon seed
- coriander seed
- fenugreek seed
- cloves
- anise
- dried mango
- poppyseed
